Usage
Originated in the Mediterranean and was later introduced to Britain and eventually America. Smoking Spearmint relaxes the nerves. An herbal steam will clear the lungs and respiratory passages to make breathing easier. As a tea, it improves blood circulation.

The menthol in Spearmint stimulates the Hippocampus area of the brain which controls mental clarity and memory. The most abundant compound I is carvone, which gives the herb its distinctive smell as well as the terpene limonene.
